DescriptionProvides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all personnel matters and assists with payroll processing.
Responsibilities1) Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
2) Assist with onboarding activities, such coordinating training enrollment, and coordinating drug screening appointment for new employees.
3) Assist with payroll/benefit-related reconciliations.
4) Occasionally assist with conducting audits of various payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action.
5) Assists with processing of terminations.
6) Assists with the preparation of the performance review forms.
7) Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
8) Assists with recruitment and interview process.
9) Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager.
10) Assist developing and implementing HR and Safety training programs.
11) Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical and administrative functions.
12) Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
13) Assists or prepares correspondence.
14) Prepares new employee files.
15) Processes mail.
16) Performs other duties as assigned.
Major in Business, Management, Human Resource or Personnel Management
Computer proficient, especially in Microsoft Access, Word, Publisher, and Excel.
-Energetic, self-starter who is willing to travel if necessary.
-Strong team player and ability to work cooperatively with others
-Effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational, problem-solving and customer service skills.
