DescriptionWe operate a virtual call center where we assist individuals all over the Unites States with customer service work at home positions. We have a strong emphasis on college students and military spouses. We offer legitimate work from home opportunities for Fortune 500 companies such as the number 1, 2 and 3 top cellular providers in the U.S. and we are looking for an intern to assist with the HR process from start to finish.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include:
Manage human resources policies, procedures and programs.
Create HR file for potential and new hires using our electronic system.
Schedule and conduct the first interview for potential employees.
Manage HR communication email accounts and advertising through social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
Preparing materials for orientation for new hires including sending out offer letters and welcome packet.
Maintain and prepare for weekly conference with staff where we can exchange feedback and review weekly performance.
Assist management in the decision making process of different human resources functions: organization, staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, employee development opportunities, employee orientation and training, etc.
Process payroll stubs and time sheets.
Review all time off and vacation request.
Maintain relationship with vendors that offers discounts and keep discount page updated.
RequirementsMust be a full-time student pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration.
Minimum GPA of 2.75
Minimum of 30 credit hours earned
Familiar with the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent follow up skills and attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management and employees.
Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts, and other information.
Works conscientiously both autonomously and within a team environment.
