Location: This is a virtual internship! You can work from home (or school, or Starbucks, or the library…or wherever).
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!
Timeline: Immediately! Approximately 10 hours a week for 15 weeks; we are flexible and your internship is negotiable. We will work with you.
The Human Resource Intern will manage one of our clients process of recruiting interns and their internship program. Write and post internship descriptions; field applications; interview candidates; extend offers; get all paperwork signed; conduct new intern orientation, reviews, and weekly check-in meetings. Mentor and train interns; build new relationships with schools; find new and innovative ways to market their internships; get their internship processes and paperwork up to snuff and down to a science.
Organized, detail-oriented, and great at people management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort and proficiency with technology – email, internet, MS Office, and willingness to learn user-friendly software. Able to multi-task and work independently. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to attend phone meetings a few times a week. Must be adaptable to changes in projects and priorities typical of a Human Resources Intern.
