Ideally the candidate would be able to work for one year or more, in NYC, but we will also accept interns for 6 months.
The intern will have their own office room, close to the founder (Hilary Rowland), in a very tidy yet casual, comfortable and fun work environment. Like some tech companies such as Google, we allow our interns to also choose to work outside on a beautiful patio with grass and comfortable furniture, or on a large sectional sofa we have in the office.
Responsibilities- Assist the HR team with posting positions, sourcing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial phone screenings.
- Participate in college recruiting events to represent the company and identify potential candidates.
- Following up with candidates previous employers and checking references.
Requirements- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Possess and exhibit a strong and genuine interest in working with people and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
