The Expert Marketing Coach is the leading social media and digital marketing
consultancy with the only social media marketing method proven to take prospects and convert
them to paying customers. We are a fast growth digital marketing company focused on helping
business owners, presidents, and CEO’s to increase their prestige and presence. We market both
to the end user, the executive, and their marketing teams. We provide social media training,
consulting and management.

We also have a second line of business. We are partners in a health and beauty clothing line where
we market anti-cellulite leggings to women in the US. This is also a high growth business. We
engage with celebrities, do product placements, ads, sponsorships, events, and more. Our product
appears on Dancing with the Stars and in national press.

Internship Description: The Human Resources Recruiter will manage the process of lining up
interns. This internship will include: write and post internship descriptions; screen resumes;
schedule interviews; schedule weekly meetings; internal communication; get their internship
processes and paperwork up to snuff and down to a science.

Benefits: You will work directly with the Founder, Debra Zimmer, who has over 25 years
marketing experience, and an MBA from Columbia Business School. The mentorship will be
working for a leading social media strategic marketing and training firm and will have access to
thousands of dollars of social media job skills training.

If working on the EMC account, you will have exposure daily to business owners, executives and
marketing professionals. If you work on the Clothing Account, you will communicate with health,
fitness and Hollywood celebrities, consumer press, bloggers and everyday users of our products.

In addition, you’ll have high-level skills and responsibilities, as well as portfolio pieces, to add to
your resume. If you are successful as an intern for us, you will receive a stellar letter of
recommendation, contacts in the social media marketing world, and coaching each week to help
you reach your professional goals. Everything you create (that is not confidential) will go in your
professional portfolio. We will gladly help you arrange for academic credit. You will have firsthand
knowledge of how to market your services as a freelancer.

Location: This is a virtual internship! You will work from home (or school, or Starbucks, or the
library…or wherever).

Timeline: Immediately! Approximately 10 hours a week for 15 weeks; we are flexible and your
internship is negotiable. We will work with you.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!

Requirements

Ideal Candidate: No prior experience necessary – we will train you! We look for organized, detailoriented,
creative people who are great at people management. Please have excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Comfort with contacting others using phone, email, Skype, or other
social media technology like LinkedIn or Facebook. Able to work independently. You must be
reliable, punctual, organized and able to ask questions and meet deadlines. You must be reliable,
punctual, and able to attend phone meetings a few times a week (in order to phone intern-view
our candidates).
* Able to commit a minimum of 30min daily to reach out to and respond to prospects
* Has own computer, cell phone, and other necessary equipment and software.
* Can work virtually. Has internet access. Can use Skype, online project management software, etc.
* Preference given to one with the ability to do multiple internships or continue after initial
internship ends
