DescriptionInternship Description: The HR Talent Scout will manage the process of lining up an army of interns for Dawg Mob LLC. This internship will include: writing and posting internship descriptions; screening resumes; intern-viewing candidates; internal communication with our HR Team; building new relationships with schools; find new and innovative ways to market the internships; and get the interns processes and paperwork up to snuff and down to a science.

1. Local Business Strategic Marketing (www.LocalBusinessStrategicMarketing.com). LBSM assists local offline businesses by driving more traffic that translates to dollars. The focus is Search Engine Optimization, branding and website optimization, building an online presence.
2. Village Critter Outfitter (www.villagecritteroutfitter.com). VCO is New Canaan, CT's premier pet store. We offer value, competitive pricing and unmatched customer service. We carry the best pet foods, supplies and supplements. We are continually and carefully evaluating new foods, while focusing on natural, holistic and organic choices. We do the research, so our customers don't have to.
3. Kayak for A Cause (http://www.kayakforacause.com/). KFAC is a not for profit organization we are affiliated with that was created as a way to blend our love of the sport with our commitment to helping good causes. Each year, kayakers join together to paddle across the Long Island Sound and raise money for their favorite charities, most of which work to protect our local waters, environment and community.
RequirementsIdeal Candidate: Organized, detail-oriented, and great at people management. Please have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort and proficiency with technology like email, the Internet, MS Office, and have the willingness to learn user-friendly software. Able to multi-task and work independently. You must be reliable, punctual, and able to attend phone meetings a few times a week (in order to phone intern-view our candidates). Being adaptable to changes in projects and priorities are typical of any HR Talent Scout.
Benefits: You will work directly with the President and Founder, Shirleen Dubuque. The mentorship that you will receive will be worth over $100,000 education in 3-6 months of time. In addition, you’ll have high-level skills and responsibilities to add to your resume. If you are successful as an intern, you will receive a stellar letter of recommendation, contacts to people in high places for business opportunities, and coaching each week to help you reach your professional goals. Everything you create (that is not confidential), will go in your professional portfolio. We will gladly help you arrange for academic credit. You will have first-hand knowledge of how to market your services as a freelancer.
Location: This is a virtual internship! You will work from home (or school, or Starbucks, or the library…or wherever).
Timeline: Immediately! Approximately 10 hours a week for 15 weeks; we are flexible and your internship is negotiable. We will work with you.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!
