Jumpstart:HR is looking to recruit our next Talent Management Intern. In this capacity, our virtual TMI will gain valuable experience in the areas of oversight and planning our corporate Talent Management initiatives and strategy. This position represents a unique opportunity to "learn by doing" in such a way that exactly mimics roles and responsibilities of corporate level employees in the field of Talent Management.
Jumpstart:HR is a Gen Y-led HR and Social Media start up that focuses on creating opportunities for college students to gain relevant experience in their particular field of study. Understanding the barrier to entry level employment is generally work experience, Jumpstart:HR provides such opportunity while offering mentoring/coaching from CEO Joey Price.
ResponsibilitiesDaily responsibilities include:
*Research and contribute thought leadership in the area of Talent Management.
*Work alongside the CEO to develop and maintain an effective Talent Management model that addresses corporate needs and demonstrates significant value to our employees.
*Publish thoughts and findings in a blog format to be posted on our corporate blog.
Requirements*Intern must be dependable, have great people skills and phone manners, an outgoing personality and be able to function well in both a corporate business setting and in social settings, etc. Must have a can-do attitude, be a self-starter and able to start ASAP.
*Must have strong academic record. Only candidates with Graduate-level HR course work experience OR strong undergraduate HR/Talent Management course work experience will be considered for this opportunity.
*Must have strong writing and communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized.
*Must be able to commit at least 15 hours a week for the duration of the semester. Hours can be flexible and scheduled on your own terms.
*MUST have access to a computer with internet access and be proficient with Word & Excel.
