This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. Interns will take an active role in implementing and sustaining new practices to ensure the best possible workplace environment. In this position, the intern will learn how to take the skills he or she may have acquired throughout their studies and apply them in a professional setting. The Regional Recruiting Manager will act as your primary mentor. They will be there to answer any questions you may have as you grow within the HR internship program.
The Human Resources Intern will directly assist the Regional Recruiting Manager with a wide range of projects and activities related to HR. The Intern will be trained to represent Aflac as a recruiter, with the goal of on-boarding full-time associates and contract brokers. On-boarding will include guiding new candidates as they look to attain their NY State Accident and Health License; advise on coursework, coordinate in-class sessions, and work with Regional Administrator to set test dates.

-Perform general research and analysis on special human resources projects (e.g. personnel selection, onboarding process, training, employee satisfaction/motivation)
-Pursuing or completed a degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or a related field
-Minimum 3.0 GPA
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team
