DescriptionThis is a paid internship. 21st Century Community Developers, LLC is a for-profit Organization with a social agenda and mission to get America's approximately 12 million unemployeds back to work in less than 5 years. To meet our objective, we realize that the key to accomplishing our mission requires that we create at least 1 job in approximately 12 million businesses. This is mathematically doable since we have 25+ million businesses in our economy. And since our plan is to create at least 3 jobs per business, depending upon business size, we must do this for approximately 4 million businesses.
Here's how we accomplish our mission. Since every business or organization has a Human Resources department with defined job roles that represent the work performed by workers, what we must do is as follows.
1. Create 3 new job titles that achieves the next step from among job seekers and student interns;
2. Uncover and tap valuable income producing assets, existing within the organization, that significantly increase the organization's net worth, book value, and market value and revenue.
3. Prove to the business owner and/or the Human Resources Director in less than 5 minutes how steps 1 & 2 will be accomplished by the new workers within their first 2 days of work
This job can be carried out remotely by phone, email, or in person, not necessarily in that order. This will be up to you. The organizations or businesses that you call on, which can include government agencies, must be in your county unless specified otherwise.
ResponsibilitiesThe individual must be able to follow directions given from our office includes creating a contact list of perspective organizations in their area. Keep a log of contacts made and the results of that contact. Indicate on the log the size of the business and other information relative to the work to be carried out by others. Make in-person calls to businesses or organizations if required by the contact. Dress professionally.
RequirementsThis job can be performed by any level student with coursework in Business, Finance, Accounting, Administration, etc. The individual must be able to work independently, manage their work, communicate effectively,be people-oriented, and not afraid to make direct calls to businesses or organizations either by phone or in-person. The individual must be familiar with PCs and the Internet since there will be a requirement to email info to our main office.
