As an HR Intern, you will work closely and assist our HR team in a wide variety of activities and projects. You will gain experience with recruiting, benefits and general human resources management.

Responsibilities

Some duties may include (but are not limited to):
-Placing classified advertisements for open positions
-Reviewing resumes
-Scheduling interviews
-Maintaining applicant and employee databases
-Reconciling benefits
-Answering and distributing calls and faxes
-Meeting room coordination &
-Processing incoming and outgoing mail & packages.

Requirements

-The ability to work effectively without constant supervision and as a team player
-Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and an outgoing demeanor
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Warm, friendly, helpful, caring phone demeanor
-Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
-An understanding of the importance of personal development and the ability to work
toward achieving agreed goals
-Excellent organizational skills, light filling and lifting, ability to sit at a computer /
desk for extended periods of time
-Professional appearance and demeanor
-Ability to multi-task, be adaptive and have a desire to solve problems
-Ability to make sound judgments independently
-Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
