We are looking for a competitive, self-motivated individual who has the drive to succeed and contribute to our next level of growth. Join our team as we expand our presence in Plainfield, NJ and experience the opportunity to help build a high performance team in this potentially lucrative position. We are seeking entry-level interns (recruiters). This is a great entry-level intern position for someone eager to develop a long-term career in sales and rapidly advance to management positions. The successful recruiter is responsible for placing qualified IT candidates with top companies throughout the Nation. This person would hopefully promote into Account Management eventually and at least be open to the possibility of relocating to open a new office.

Responsibilities

We provide thorough training and teach recruiters how to:

Utilize established, proven recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals interested in contract and contract-to-hire employment as well as given the opportunity to develop your own creative recruiting methods
Screen candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions
Conduct skills testing, office interviews, reference checks and background investigations
Present job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms
Prepare candidates for the client interview process
Build professional relationships with contract employees through lunch meetings and on site visits
Network for new business opportunities and referrals


Additionally we train and teach you the skills necessary to prepare you for your next role. Specifically:
Management and leadership skills
Business development techniques and best practices
Relationship building
How to develop and mentor others
Negotiation skills
How to succeed long term in the lucrative sales field

Requirements

A successful applicant must:

Be pursuing a Bachelor's / Graduate degree or equivalent experience
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Have at least intermediate knowledge of Google Applications and Microsoft Office Applications
Proper phone etiquette
Have a strong competitive drive to be the best
Have a ‘can do’ attitude with energy and enthusiasm
