ResponsibilitiesPurpose of Internship:
Assisting the District Manager & Assistant District Manager with the growth and development of the AFLAC organization in the Hudson Valley area.
Interns will leave our program licensed NYS Life, Accident and Health Agents with some of the best training the insurance industry has to offer.
Schedule is flexible and entirely up to the students. May be full time or part time depending on the student. Our office is located in 6 of our locations in NY.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Main Duties of Interns:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to being entirely involved in the recruiting process from scheduling interviews, pre-screening leads and tracking the results for the field sales agents with AFLAC. The district managers will work with the students in tailoring the internship program to meet their needs in terms of the areas where they wish to derive beneficial experience.
Related to recruiting, at District Manager's discretion, intern can receive incentives.
To provide college students with the opportunity to gain real world experience in the field of Human Resources. Students will be able to observe how AFLAC organizes and develops its independent offices and independent contractors (insurance agents) to make up its field force. Students are welcome to sit in on team meetings and learn how a sales district is run. There are also work from home opportunities as well as a structured year round internship program.
