Description of company:
Entrepreneurs That SOAR! offers year round internships to undergraduates, graduate students, recent graduates and anyone who are in career transition that would like to add skills that can enhance their resumes.

Internships are part time and almost all work can be accomplished virtually. Therefore, location is not of the utmost importance. We also accept international interns for various internship positions.

Selection is made on the basis of your interest, passion and motivation in working for Entrepreneurs That SOAR, enthusiasm for Entrepreneurs That SOAR's mission and programs, your ability to contribute and, your commitment to gaining a meaningful work experience. This is a learning internship experience and we do not expect you to know everything.

Create internship descriptions
Post internship openings on various recruitment channels
Manage applicant communications
Screens applicants
Conduct preliminary interviews
Hire potential candidates post approval
On boarding:
Send "Welcome Kit" to new interns
Help set up intern orientation and monitor process and progress
Maintains accurate data, records, and files to track status of every candidate intern


Currently pursuing or have taken courses in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, and/or Journalism.
Great communication skills
Great attention to details.
Have great writing mechanics including sentence structure, grammar, transitions, punctuation, etc.
Ability to work independently and within teams.
Knowledge in photo and video editing (using tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Photoscape)
Knowledge of HTML is a plus.
Required time commitment: minimum 10 - 20 virtual hours for 6 months (if applicable) per week during the school year.
A plus if you are within 60 minutes driving distance of New Haven, CT.
