DescriptionScopic Software is seeking a recruiting operations intern. This is a work from home position. Scopic is a virtual company (i.e., everyone works from home) with almost 200 employees spread across 25 different countries. You can learn more about us here - www.scopicsoftware.com. In this position you would help in our recruiting operations. Our recruiters are currently offshore and looking to have someone in the US to coordinate and facilitate activitities. Full-time although part-time may be considered. Would be hourly to start with a move to a salaried position with benefits if things work out.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include initiating new hiring requisitions, creating job descriptions, assigning interviewers, helping with candidate screening and possibly making some hiring decisions. Eventually responsibilities would include optimization of the hiring process and more direct supervision of others.
Requirements- Excellent communication skills.
- Desire and disposition for a home-based job.
- Attention to detail. If you don't have this please don't apply.
- People skills. Ability to judge character and motivations.
- Light Supervisory skills. This position will have some oversight responsibilities if you are able.
- Software domain knowledge. This would be helpful but is not required.
- Some recruiting experience would be helpful but is not required.
