DescriptionRIVA Solutions is looking for an entry-level Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract, screen and select qualified and suitable top talent for federal contracts.
Responsibilities will consist of full life-cycle recruitment supporting various customers and programs: create/enter requisitions, actively source, screen, submit, selection, and offer management (effectively negotiates, prepares, and extends offers).
The recruiter will be expected, with training and oversight, to craft and communicate internal external recruiting strategies and provide timely updates to customers, management team and stakeholders.

Help to design and implement overall recruiting strategy
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media etc
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
Monitor and apply hr recruiting best practices
Provide analytical and well documented reports to the rest of the team
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
Interest in recruiting in the federal contracting space, some experience is preferred, but not required.
Must be results-oriented; customer-service focused and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills.
Thrive working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with ability to adjust easily to shifting focus of sourcing needs based on changing contract/proposal requirements.
Proficiency with social media, search engines, job boards, networking, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
