As the JLM TA Intern, you will not only receive staffing experience but you will also learn powerful business techniques that will help you throughout your career. You will be working on real projects that will provide you with great experience to ensure that you and JLM grow together.

As the JLM TA Intern, you will focus on sourcing, making calls to candidates, setting up interviews, and conducting the interviews. You will report directly to the President, COO, and Operations Administrator, while acquiring valuable hands-on experience in recruiting. We value all of our interns and will go above and beyond to ensure you receive a learning experience that will be beneficial to your career.

What You Will Learn:
• Sourcing, calling, and interviewing candidates
• Reference checks on candidates
• Input candidates into the company database and link individuals to job orders
• Hands-on experience with daily operations and maintenance of a small business organization
• Create/post job descriptions and modify candidate resumes to company standards


Job Responsibilities (for the 6 weeks):
• Calendar interviews for Recruiting Team, as well as, events, trainings, and employee updates
• Send out confirmation emails for scheduled interviews and congratulations emails for candidates starting new positions
• Input candidate profile information into candidate tracking system as needed and audit for completeness
• Greet all incoming candidates and visitors
• Audit and process candidate profile folders for completeness using on-boarding check list (I9, W4, Application is signed, employment agreements are signed etc.)
• Scrub candidate resumes and store in Drop Box shared database
• Source candidate resumes and forward to recruiting team as needed
• Answer all overflow phone calls and distribute messages via email to the appropriate person
• Manage the recruitment process of candidates

What We Require:
• Enthusiastic about staffing/recruiting
• Business Majors/Minors
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Have great phone etiquette
• Detail oriented
• Be able to manage multiple tasks at once
• Strong computer skills
• Desire for advancement in the company
• Hands-On experience with daily operations and maintenance of a small business organization

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Business hours)
