Description

Position Objective: Provide support to the human resources and recruiting department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Initiate, lead, and complete various human resources projects as assigned.

Ensure all employees are off-boarded in the applicant tracking system.

Create and maintain a SharePoint site for Human Resources and Recruiting.

Conduct reference checks for potential new hires.

Review resumes to format, grammar and punctuation.

Initiate background checks through a third-party vendor.

Maintain personnel files – to include filing of documents into employee files and review of employee files for compliance purposes.

Maintain employee HRIS records by inputting new employee data and processing personnel action changes.

May provide front desk assistance.

Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a college senior or above, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Business, English, Communications or related field desired.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, resourcefulness, and self-sufficiency are also extremely important.

Ability to think critically, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment is critical.

Excellent research skills.

Ability to work independently and capable of taking initiative on specific projects.

Requirements

Internships will be expected to maintain a schedule of between 10–40 hours per week with variable work schedules. Academic credit may be offered.
