YOakleyPR is looking for a resourceful, adaptive, and energetic human resources project management intern. You will be leading the HR department and supervising a human resources intern. You will be overseeing talent strategy and recruiting, initial interviews with internship candidates, handling onboarding for new hires, and developing our company’s focus on professional development.

You will become familiar with the ins and outs of college recruiting and be able to see how an HR department runs on all sides.

The ideal candidate for this role must have leadership experience and a significant human resources background. We are looking for an adept communicator who can champion other interns, but also represent YOakleyPR externally.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Expand our college recruitment network utilizing Handshake, Symplicity, and other recruiting programs
Manage weekly HR projects, delegating tasks to an HR intern, and having weekly meetings with him/her
Participate in communication planning with clients in an effort to increase integration between marketing and human resources departments
Interview graphic design, marketing, and human resources internship candidates
Conduct onboarding sessions via Google Hangout and serve as the point of contact during a new hire’s first two weeks
Conduct 360 performance evaluations
Maintain personnel records, handle sensitive information confidentially
Create and update software documentation

Requirements

Requirements:
Current graduate student or college graduate
Skills preferred: Internet Recruiting, Sourcing, Screening, Training and Development, Structured Interviews, Writing, Editing, & HR planning
