Seeking enthusiastic, global-oriented, and self-motivated interns worldwide, with a true passion for Executive Recruitment, Virtual Organizations, and Social Media; who can bring creative ideas to the virtual organization recruitment team and help implement them. Will support the entire VOMI Global Think Tank and Advisory Board, a powerful virtual organization advocacy force within VOMI. Will, under strict supervision, have an opportunity to [[ learn ]] a great deal about "virtual organization recruitment," the future of recruitment - and NOT "virtual recruitment"; there is a big difference between the two of them.

You will assist in recruiting "Worldwide" for VOMI and our affiliates primarily for senior, middle and senior management, executive leadership, and Board level virtual organization positions in the following fields: sales and marketing, human resources, legal, accounting and finance, communications, technology, education, event management, social media, etc.

May have the opportunity to acquire extensive knowledge in the formulation of executive compensation and benefits and gain significant exposure to technical and tax aspects of executive compensation (e.g., 162(m), 409(A), ERISA, etc.), employment agreements, separation agreements, retention agreements, termination agreements, etc., depending on the length of the internship. May also be involved, under strict supervision, in planning and/or attending Board meetings; learning and using virtual organization parliamentary procedures based on VOMI's Rules of Order; recording and transcribing minutes of board meeting; and learning how to draft board resolutions.


This is a 30-Day UNPAID Global-Virtual Internship, with a possibility of being extended for up to a maximum period of 90 days based on your initial performance during the first 30 days. Our internship program is Year-Round and is open to all applicants worldwide who meet our strict requirements. All selected interns who have successfully completed the maximum total of 90 days of internship will receive a $2500 stipend for tuition and education expenses subject to meeting all other stipend award requirements.

You must be an undergraduate student (anywhere in the world) in your 3rd or final year, or graduate student, majoring in Human Resources or a related discipline. Must have a min 3.00 GPA in your major or equivalent; a 3.50+ GPA is preferred. A Social Media Native with a strong interest in virtual organizations and virtual organization recruitment is a must. Open-minded; willing to learn how to conduct "virtual organization recruitment" - NOT virtual recruitment - using VOMI-approved methods instead of the obsolete and antiquated brick-and-mortar recruitment method currently in use by today's organizations. Prior recruitment experience is not required but may be helpful with respect to understanding recruitment terminology. A strong commitment to performance and excellence in a virtual organization environment is a must. Admission is limited only to undergraduate students who will receive course credit for the internship, however, a waiver of this requirement due to extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis; and to graduate students. As well, we require the following:

• Willingness and ability to operate and manage, under strict supervision, in a 100% virtual organization environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication, research, and writing skills.
• Highly disciplined, focused, and extraordinary ability to adapt and thrive in a virtual organization.
• Must be totally self-sufficient in a 100% virtual environment.
• Proficiency with Google Docs and all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is a plus.
• Fluency in English required, additional language proficiencies (e.g., French, Chinese, etc.) are a plus.
• STRONG recommendations.
