Company is looking for a qualified intern to provide support for various HR functions, specifically recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and social media. In addition, the intern will perform various administrative and organizational duties. More complex tasks will be assigned with success in this position, as well as special project work.
This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of HR functions.
Provide administrative assistance (filing, electronic organization, etc.).
Perform various data entry on an as-needed basis.
Enters employee data into the company record keeping system.
Partner with HR Coordinator to assemble HR information packets for new hires and terminations.
Partner with Recruiter and HR Coordinator to ensure files include required paperwork.
Provide support for new employee onboarding feedback process.
Assist the HR Coordinator with the maintenance and organization social media
Participate in various HR team initiatives, research, and special projects as assigned
Provides support in functional areas of a human resources department, which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, job evaluation, compensation management,
organization development and training.
Company is looking for an undergraduate student experienced in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate will work from a remote site and can be located anywhere in the U. S. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position. Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and follow through skills must be evident so that multiple projects can be successfully managed. Ability to work at least 15 hours per week during the academic year. Must be 18 yrs. or older and be able to receive school credit for internship experience.
