The Rob Zerban Congressional Exploratory Committee is currently seeking interns for our Kenosha, Elkhorn, and Janesville offices. Qualified candidates will possess an interest in political campaigns, good writing and communications skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. Applicants should be professional, motivated, and adept at multi-tasking. This internship opportunity will expose you to all aspects of political campaigns. Whether your interests are in finance, communications, research, advertising, or activism, you will take away useful skills from this experience. A Democratic congressional campaign is seeking talented, competitive applicants for a challenging internship opportunity. We are looking for individuals who display urgency, discretion, and good judgment. Campaign interns will be given a 360-degree view of campaign management in an intense race, with the ability to rotate between departments and projects. Interns will be entrusted with a variety of tasks including: Voter contact and persuasion Supporter outreach and recruitment Donor research Staffing the candidate and campaign staff members on an ad hoc basis Representing the campaign at community events Setting up campaign events and fundraisers Scheduling is flexible with work hours available during evenings and weekends. Though internships are unpaid, we can provide internship credit, and references and letters of recommendation for suitable candidates.

CHCI is sustained by a strong sponsor and donor base that requires expansion and stewardship to maintain and ensure continuing ability to deliver quality programs and operations supporting its mission. Recently CHCI formalized and centralized development functions and strategy by creating a new unit/department. The department has two key focuses: current and short term (1-3 year) revenue; launching and executing a comprehensive capital campaign over the succeeding 36-40 months. This position will play an important and exciting role in support of some strategic initiatives including the following: This position is available immediately. CHCI is conveniently located near the Capitol and very accessible to public transportation. We can offer a flexible work schedule and typically ask interns to work a minimum of 20 hours weekly. The position will also provide the opportunity to participate in the organizations premier events including our annual golf tournament to support our scholarship program and our public policy conference and gala. The internship provides extensive networking opportunities in both the federal and private sectors. eNew Targets: - New Target outreach letters, follow up calls on mtg requests. - Communication letter merges, labels and mailing Stewardship Tracking: - Populating a better stewardship tracking to include branding, marketing recognition, access, network connection, concierge services, etc. - Donor Society members induction and membership life tracking (we dont have one) - Organizing Partnership documents in a binder (copies of grant submissions, etc.) Impact Tracking: - Collecting Alumni success stories tracking - Collect basic metrics from programs and media (for grants and sponsorship applications)

When the Hill is quiet, Intern will also provide general support to our product development and sales teams. Put your communications, journalism or government knowledge to work, and learn how to apply those skills in the real world. The CapitolTrak team is small, dedicated, and passionate. PHA is seeking a Grassroots Advocacy Intern to assist the Director of Advocacy and Awareness in building our programs and creating opportunities for pulmonary hypertension patients to be involved in solutions to issues that affect their lives. This critical support will enable us to continue to provide vital services to the pulmonary hypertension community and promote awareness of an under-diagnosed illness. No prior knowledge of pulmonary hypertension is needed. You will be treated as a respected team member. Our office is a friendly and welcoming environment. Massachusetts Peace Action is seeking students, recent graduates, or young activists who can commit 12-15hours per week from May to August. The internship is unpaid but a stipend of $300 will be paid on completion. Start and end dates are flexible but the student should be able to work at least 10 weeks during the summer. Our office is located in Harvard Square, Cambridge. Massachusetts Peace Action is a statewide membership organization working to develop the sustained political power to foster a more just and peaceful U.S. foreign policy. Through grassroots organizing, policy advocacy, and community education, our priority issues for 2013 are: promote reductions in the military budget to fund programs that address jobs, the environment and human needs; end the war in Afghanistan and prevent one with Iran; and abolish nuclear weapons. The Legislative Intern will focus on organizing support for a Budget for All resolution in the Massachusetts State House, on tracking the items on Mass. Peace Actions legislative agenda, and mobilizing support and opposition in Congress for the bills we support and oppose.
