Web Developer Intern: Are you a front-end developer with an eye for design? We are looking for someone to come in and work with our design team on building out a standards repository (both design and code) that would serve as the base for all of the clients public websites. This position requires the ability to balance business/design needs with development standards and scalability demands. You must be able to define the structure for complex web sites from the ground up and developing well-written front-end code: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax and more. We are looking for someone who understands how to design and structure a website/application for site speed and future maintenance and can work well with back-end developers and UI designers. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Entry level of web development experience. Licensing / Data Management Departments The Licensing Department processes and verifies licensing requests for the reproduction of musical compositions on behalf of our publisher principals. Our goal is to obtain complete and accurate information from licensees to assure efficient handling of all requests in a timely manner which results in royalty collections on behalf of our publisher clients. The primary purpose of the Data Management Department is to rationalize and integrate the process and strategy of managing musical composition, sound recordings, licensing and royalty data. The integration of this data into a singular and broader rights management and business intelligence platform is vital to HFAs ability to drive commerce. We offer internships in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Spring and Fall internships are part-time positions (12-15 hrs/week), unpaid, school credit only. Spring term begins in January and end in May. Fall begins in September and ends in December. The summer internship is a full-time paid internship, which runs from June through August.
