Web/Social Media Savvy Intern Needed for Growing Fashion/Beauty Site and Video SeriesBookmark This
Notes from the Vanity
Notes from the Vanity is a company started by on-air style & beauty expert Jenn Falik to develop written and video online content for her personal blog (blog.jennfalik.com) and brand partners in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle space. Most recently, Jenn has launched a video series called "Selective Eye" and is growing her team to support this new endeavor and help keep up with the growing demand for content, social media promotion and website development. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to assist Jenn with national TV segments and event appearances.
Jenn is seeking someone with knowledge of web design/development and SEO, as well as a passion for social media. Additionally, experience with Photoshop and some graphic design acumen (or innate talent!) is a bonus, as is an interest in blogging/style/beauty/media. This is an amazing opportunity to build your portfolio of web work and meet tons of people across the aforementioned industries.
At the outset, the internship will require between 8-10 hours a week of work (all done remotely- so candidates can live anywhere and everywhere- if you are the right person, it will work even if we are doing "meetings" via Skype in pajamas.)
The scope of work may include the following: *depending on candidate's strengths*
-Assisting in blog post/video development/links/image creation
-Assisting in optimizing content for SEO
-Presenting ideas for maximizing Selective Eye YouTube Channel
-Launching and managing Selective Eye social media platforms
-Presenting and executing promotional ideas to increase subscribers
-Creating Photoshop templates and design guidelines
-Attending press events/fashion shows and summarizing must-know info for Jenn Falik (if in NYC area)
-Assisting on video shoots (if in NYC area)
-Assisting on national TV segments (if in NYC area)
There is the potential for this position to turn into a paid full time or part time assistant role in the near future as Selective Eye grows.
