DescriptionNoxster is a boutique agency that specializes in search engine optimization, web development, branding, media buying, and creative writing. Noxster is looking for an ambitious intern who is looking to improve upon their internet marketing skills. Our company is devoted to building from the ground up and promoting from within. This internship gives you the opportunity to learn about search engine optimization while also expanding your customer management skills and creative skills.

School credit is available if allowed by the university of the applicant. The unpaid internship is designed around teaching you the fundamentals of online marketing, info graphics, power point presentations, email marketing, and web design. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on substantive projects and could result in an excellent industry-leader reference.
ResponsibilitiesCreating Info Graphics and or Designing Social Media Campaigns.
Creating wireframes and designs for current web development projects
Working with the creative team to better utilize SEO Campaigns.
Assisting in the creation of website mockups based on creative briefs and other materials
Attending client meetings and working with our Account Managers to translate visions into reality.
Creating images optimized for the web using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks
Incorporating custom fonts on the web utilizing tools like typekit, sift, cufon, etc…
Assisting in project completion according to schedule
Effectively applying our methodology and following project standards
Collaborating with the SEO team, developers, and other stakeholders to establish the vision of the project and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs
Assisting in conceptualizing and designing internal marketing materials (for print and the company website)
Searching daily to expand your knowledge and resources and sharing that with the team
Presenting organized files such as Photoshop layered/folder files
RequirementsAn awesome portfolio!
A core understanding of search engine optimization
Experience designing info graphics, youtube video’s, and slide shares.
A modernized taste for design aesthetic.
The ability to work within a team environment while understanding the importance of communication and timelines.
An interest in learning how to use typography and grids
Passion about design in general with a great understanding of color palettes, gradients, and flat
Working in a small team of 15 employees. Being the biggest agency means your work matters.
An interest in learning to use Photoshop and Illustrator (experience preferred)
An interest in learning how to present material (experience preferred)
An interest in learning about online tools such as basecamp, dropbox, and google docs (experience preferred)
An interest in designing for the web (experience preferred)
2-5 years experience designing (freelance or at prior internships)
The motivation to work as a team player but also independently on projects with minimal supervision
Qualities such as dependability, reliability, initiative, a positive attitude toward the job
Excellent written English
The ability to stay highly organized with great attention to detail and be deadline oriented
The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
Been accepted into an accredited college or university and currently be receiving credit
Availability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week onsite
