DescriptionLrngo.com is where learning meets the sharing economy and people connect to learn from each other for free in over 200 countries, in person or via the web. We are looking for community manager and social media interns to fill internship positions in our west Houston office. Training provided for the right candidate.
ResponsibilitiesFT internship position requires 35 hrs/wk: M-F from 10am-6pm with one hour off for lunch, and one day each week can be working remotely. PT internship position requires 20 hrs/wk: two days for five hours each week at our office, and 10 hours each week working remotely.
RequirementsLooking for interns and/or volunteers who are outgoing and friendly individuals with great written communication skills. You will be collecting and posting relevant information from the web, providing outgoing social media and forum engagement, and interact with users on our website and other websites to promote and provide guidance. You will act as a first line of non-technical customer support, and also help with internet marketing efforts to collect relevant information and obtain consumer opinions and feedback.
Experience preferred using community forums, Facebook, Twitter and other social media. However, your ability to complete tasks and enthusiasm for the project are more important to us than prior experience. You will be working closely with the founders and the rest of the marketing team.
