Description

Einstein Assembly (http://www.einsteinassembly.com) is looking for a UI Design Intern to start now, with an opportunity for full time employment after. Joined by a small team of coders, developers and product owners you will have the opportunity to create beautiful, clear page layouts and screen designs for our digital experiences for both desktop and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

What you can expect to do:

As the UI Designer, you’ll be a vital part of translating the company’s brand into useful and engaging digital experiences for a variety of audiences, including consumers, and members.
You’ll determine the layout, color palette, visual hierarchy and typography, and create the visual affordances (cues) for interactive components within a the interface of a new application.
Work directly with developers to bring your template designs to life with dynamic content

Requirements

What we’re looking for in a designer:

A strong drive to innovate
Flexibility and comfort in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing business needs
A portfolio showcasing excellent skills in visual design and innovative UI solutions
Qualifications
Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, usability and other design principles
Strong skills with design tools
Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML and CSS is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
