Description

TribeLA Magazine is a start-up Arts and Culture print and digital magazine designed to inspire, elevate, entertain, educate, and build networks that bring together the myriad of Arts and Cultures in the Los Angeles area.
We are looking for a qualified intern as a Web Designer/Developer, who would be implementing the design, layout and coding of the TribeLA website. This individual may or may not be involved in the maintenance and update of the site. You must have problem-solving skills and have them tested in a fast- paced, collaborative environment. You would need the ability to write programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software graphics packages. You must have the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

The Intern is expected to work with publisher, design, and editorial team in developing a magazine format website that will attract readers with our content. We also need to work with a Web Developer with ideas on how we can upload Art to our website and other Art related opportunities to explore.

Requirements

Web Design and IT and have a good eye for color, Art, & Design. You must possess an open heart and willingness to understand the Arts and Culture community. You must have great communications skills. You must have the ability to learn and share with those around you and apply your skills to the TribeLA Arts and Culture community. You must possess a winning attitude so that your work transcends into a viable design to help and inspire others. We want to WOW our readers and we need people who want to do just that.
