During the  NFI Management Trainee Program , you will complete multiple rotations through many of our businesses and corporate functions at locations throughout the United States. Our robust on-the-job training and development program combined with a vast range of challenging hands-on projects and assignments will prepare you for an entry-level management.

This 16-18 month program combines individualized functional/tactical training with a strong focus on developing true leaders capable of succeeding in today's competitive environment. Participants will observe experienced professionals to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for performance of departmental duties.

You will learn to effectively communicate, influence and interact with all types of customers as well as a wide range of colleagues throughout NFI.

The program consists of facilitated real-life and classroom learning designed to expose participants to key business functions such as:

• Dedicated and Transactional Fleet Management

• 3PL Transportation Management

• Transportation Maintenance

• Sales, Brokerage Marketing

• Engineering

• Operations Support

• Commercial Real Estate and Solar Energy Development

• Corporate functions including Finance, HR and Risk Management

The Business Analyst Intern will work with Lead and Senior Business Analysts to provide consulting, configuration, testing and implementation related services throughout the lifecycle of the solution implementation process.  Additionally, this position will be assigned tasks ranging from one or more of the following; creating and managing documentation of requirements, data mapping for integration, identified gaps and testing process/results.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

• Works with Senor Business Analyst and/or team to determine gaps and requirements      for project
• Participates in detailed design discussions. Assist in composing clear and concise      detailed design documentation (process flow, use cases) that define      existing processes, identify gaps with standard solution and document      proposed future solution design.
• Participate and work with Solutions Architect, Developers and various technical      resources to determine best solution for customer.
• Assist in the writing of requirements/specification documentation for development      and other technical groups.
• Assist in unit and scenario testing and the documentation of full cycle testing      results including customers testing requirements and internal testing      requirements.
• Assist by providing information and documents to team and PM for transition into      support

The Engineering Intern supports the Department by providing project support and assisting in the preparation of various charts and reports as needed.

Duties Responsibilities:

Assist with AutoCad facility designs, project Gantt charts, project calendars, and process flow charts.

Review existing operational procedures and identify process improvement opportunities.

Prepare monthly material handling equipment reports for engineering and operations management.

Assist in other projects as needed.

The Solutions Developer Intern position will work with Lead and Senior Developers to define, develop and support application software as required to support the objectives of Information Technology and the business units.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

• Participate in project meetings that are held to discuss project scope, requirements, design, planning and status.
• Learn and use the tools and techniques that are established and standardized for solutions development by IT Management.
• Technologies include; SQL server/T-SZL,ASP.NET/VB.NET, MS-Access, Crystal Reports.NET, Oracle PL/SQL, Loftware, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Tools include; SourceSafe, Web Matrix, Query Analyzer, TOAD, Query Farm and Crystal Designer.
• Techniques include; Proc Lists, Tracing,Transactions, ADI, Production Control, Naming Conventions and other best practices.
• Work in a team environment towards the timely development and support of application software by applying analysis, design, coding, testing and production control best practices.
• Work with the other developers under the guidance of Development Supervisors, Project Managers, and IT Management to complete development tasks that meet business requirements.

Title: eCommerce Intern Location: US-NC-Morrisville Job Number: 221542 eCommerce Intern Job Description: eCommerce interns will take direction from the eCommerce team consisting of multi-functional groups responsible for all facets of the online experience for websites. The intern should be a locally based College Student with a GPA of 3.0 or above and available to work 10-20 hours per week. Job Responsibilities: This position spans cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, promotions, demand generation, telesales, content and metrics/analytics. The intern will work on many projects over the course of the semester to enable a broad understanding of the eCommerce business. Assist in the implementation of product presentation within the website including new functionality, testing and ongoing maintenance. Regularly check the websites through quality assurance (QA) testing, particularly during new release deployments. Assist in monitoring industry trends and relevant competitor insights through reports and competitive analysis, as needed.
