As Power System Engineer Intern , you will be responsible for participating in the development, implementation, and testing of ALSTOM Network Analysis products and projects. This position is responsible for: · Performing assigned software development, enhancement, and maintenance tasks to support project delivery, product support and/or development activities. · Assisting senior engineers in implementing predefined new functionality with power system application software. May be assigned a functionality to implement with limited supervision. · Developing or enhancing existing functionality or user interfaces. Responsible for specific documentation and internal testing involving some customer interaction. · Ensuring quality assurance standards and procedures are followed in all aspects of software development. General Qualifications: · MSEE with thesis or related work in Power Systems, Computer Science, Economics or equivalent work experience. · Good understanding of power systems. · Knowledge and understanding of software coding. This position is also responsible for: * Application of APS requirements in DIT production including 5S, MIFA, Continuous Flow, and Waste Hunting. * Studying manufacturing process for labor efficiency to identify ways to reduce direct labor hours required and strive to eliminate steps in the assembly process. * Conducts process improvement studies to enhance the ease of assembly. * Standardizes manufacturing processes to improve effectiveness. * Updates assembly processes. * Trains production employees on modified procedures. * Help organize and assist with the relocation of Production to a new facility. * Assist implementation of SAP enterprise requirements planning system into Production. Duties: Primary Function: Coordinate and produce promotional multimedia materials. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a traditional creative approach encompassing brainstorming or ideation, sketching and storyboarding, capture/filming, and editing will be used to create the final product. Filming will occur both on and off location from our company facilities. The main focus of this role is to develop and plan the videos. If time permits continuation of the coordination of video shooting and post production will also be a part of this role. Qualifications: Educational and Experience Requirements: Applicants should have a minimum of two-year of college education in Film/Video. Applicants should be comfortable with both the theory and practice of narrative storytelling, storyboarding, sketching, using a digital video camera, lighting, and rigging (tripods, cranes, dollies, etc.).
