  • Assists the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, accrediting body standards and Coram Policy and Procedures (PP).
  • Follows all appropriate guidelines for the preparation of compounded sterile products per Coram PP:
    • Product preparation
    • Checking procedures
    • Labeling procedures
    • Packaging compounded product for storage and delivery
  • Prepares and maintains the pharmacy clean room suite and all dedicated equipment in accordance with Coram PP's.
  • Performs and maintains documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing in accordance with Coram PP's.

  • Communicates appropriately with all members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications  
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is preferred.
  • At least one year experience (or combination of education and experience) as a pharmacy technician.
  • Must have demonstrated IV admixture skills and abilities.
  • Eligible for state registration, certification or licensure per state regulations.
  • National pharmacy technician certification required.
  • Basic computer skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to mix drugs, use computer and other equipment and reach with hands and arms.

Our internships are designed to offer students an opportunity to gain insight into practical, business related experience that complements their educational major. Job Summary: The incumbent intern, Heating, Ventilation and Air Condition Technician (HVAC) is responsible for providing technical service assistance on Preventative Maintenance calls, shuttling necessary parts and supplies for service repair completion for Repair Technicians and performing on-the-job training tasks when working with a Break Technician HS 2305 on service calls.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Rides with or meets Break/Fix Technician at designated locations to assist with service calls when assigned Shuttles parts and supplies to Break/Fix Technician when applicable Works as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer Maintains the highest level of service standards and communicates openly with District Technical Manager to assist as needed with resolving customer issues Looks for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience Maintains any company vehicle used truck and ensures maintenance schedules are within the company guidelines (i.e., wash truck weekly, oil changes), and ensures tools and equipment are in safe operating condition Adheres to all company policies and procedures Maintains inventory of parts which have been delivered Insures punctual deliveries Provides assistance with loading/unloading parts Performs other duties as assigned Education Requirements: Technical School Years of Related Experience: None License/Certificate Required: No Driver's License Required: Yes Travel Requirements: 100% Age Requirement: 18+ Required Skills: Anticipates graduation from an approved HVAC Training Program/School within 3 months of starting internship. Able to work with limited supervision and make sound judgments and decisions Ability to communicate, read, understand and apply written text of a technical nature in order to answer questions, solve problems or complete job tasks Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to work assigned schedule Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast paced environment Ability to follow appropriate industry specific regulations related to handling of hazardous materials Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach and climb Must have and maintain a safe driving record and valid drivers license and insurance Ability to drive in various weather conditions for long periods of time and in various demographic areas Possess knowledge of basic electrical principles Ability to gain knowledge of all tools, equipment and materials used to perform services on Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units Ability to access interior and exterior landscapes Ability to access different levels of terrain while performing duties Maintains a minimum GPA 3.0 Maintains attendance at HVAC Training School must be 90% or above High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
