Familius is a small company, so an internship with us means youll be on the frontlines of all the changesforget pushing papers and getting others coffee. As a Familius book design intern, youll have the chance to design the interiors (both print and digital) for 10 Familius titles. And by the end of your internship, you can expect to see your very own work appear on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Apples iBookstore. You'll be given feedback by publishing sales representatives and Familius staff, who will help you refine your skills and build an outstanding portfolio. Our goal as a company is to help families be happy. We are looking for interns that are positive, upbeat, wildly creative, and that have a sincere to desire to help families. DETAILS: Compensation: $750 stipend Hours: 30-40 per week, but those hours may be scheduled at the interns convenience. Location: Flexible. All of your work can be done at home and on your own time. Heres your chance to create and publish video content for a family-based audience. As a Familius film intern, youll film five videos: three book teasers and two short films on best family practices. Our goal as a company is to help families be happy. We are looking for interns that are positive, upbeat, wildly creative, and that have a sincere to desire to help families. DETAILS: Compensation: $350 stipend, plus a waiver of the Familius Family International Film Festival fee. Position type: unpaid Founded in 1992, Urban Solutions is a dynamic and productive economic development non-profit organization based in San Francisco. Our mission is to strengthen underserved neighborhoods by supporting small businesses, job creation, diversity and sustainability. Description Urban Solutions has an immediate opening for an intern or volunteer to help increase funding support for our programs serving low-income and minority business owners. Through research projects and proposal writing, the intern/volunteer will have a unique opportunity to further develop their knowledge about community and economic development, neighborhood services, small businesses, and environmental sustainability. The intern/volunteer will operate under the direction of the Development and Communications Director. This is not an entry-level or training position. We ask that applicants consider a minimum two-month commitment at 10-15 hours per week (negotiable).
