Downtown Academy seeks to provide an excellent and rigorous Christ-centered education that builds knowledge, character, and purpose. Building on the success and relationships of Downtown Ministries through the Downtown Falcons and other programs, Downtown Academy will launch in August 2013. As the first and only private, gospel-driven school for inner-city youth in Athens, we will begin with kindergarten and first grade classes, with the intent to expand by one grade each year.

All candidates should be very professional in appearance and able to collaborate with others as needed to complete many tasks. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with basic experience and skills as an Content Manager. The Content Manager will be responsible for working directly with key team members, clients and vendors. This role requires attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines and little supervision. Internship will be in the office environment within the Administrative Office.

Marketing Interns will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients in a variety of industries. Intern will also be able to work on projects ranging from product and brand management to internal and external communications. This may involve creating promotional materials, doing research on a target market, or selling the product/service to customers. The program also allows for interns to provide input within the creative process and contribute to the design process of materials. This internship is for credit and experience and is not paid, however, interns will be paid to work events should they arise.
