The City of Charlotte Shared Services Technology Management is seeking three interns with experience in Process Improvement and Technical Writing. Experience gained in the classroom will be accepted.

Interns will work with Shared Services Technology Management service areas process owners to review workflow, model processes, and document standard operating procedures. In addition, the analyst will conduct technology-related research and prepare reports in issues such as business continuity, service levels, bench-marking, etc. Must have strong facilitation, service planning and work flow management skills. This position requires excellent oral/written communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Visio, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

The Intern will be responsible for building relationships with staff and management, sustaining deliverables in a timely manner and proving full circle feedback throughout the team.

Requirements

Applicants must have strong facilitation, service planning and work flow management skills. This position requires excellent oral/written communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Visio, and MS Project. Preference is given to those with an ITIL/IT Service Management (ITSM) background.
