Description

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting understanding and cooperation between Jews and Christians has an exciting FULL-TIME opportunity available for a JUNIOR.NET DEVELOPER. The JUNIOR .NET Developer is responsible for interfacing with internal and external users to deliver automated business processes that meet business needs. This role is also responsible for documenting these solutions and providing appropriate training for end users using industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
-Developing software to automate business processes.
-Collaborating with end-users to gather requirements and set expectations. Interacting with other technical team members to establish program requirements.
-Training and supporting end-users on the in-house programs.
-Documenting in-house programs and processes in a clear and concise manner for technical and non-technical audiences.
-Adherence to software development best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:
-A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of C# coursework completed with a minimum of 3.5/ 4.0 received from C# and related coursework.
-Hands-on experience with C#, XML, MVC, LINQ, AJAX, Java, and ASP.NET through internship or other work experience is a plus.
-Experience with current version of SQL Server as an application backend is a plus.
-C# development skills in a multi-tier environment a plus.
-Ability to effectively and tactfully communicate orally and in writing, integrating non-technical terms with management and end users for requirement gathering and product delivery.
-Analytical and problem solving skills.
-Detail oriented and highly organized.
-High degree of initiative and independent judgment with strong desire to learn new technologies and how they can best be integrated into existing application architecture.
