DiPietro Marketing Group LLC has a great internship opportunity for a confidant, inquisitive, technically-inclined problem-solver for the position of Programmer / Database / Web Developer Coordinator. This opportunity is available immediately and through Spring 2012. It is a really good, challenging chance to apply classroom learning and gain hands-on experience while helping the company’s clients continue to grow.
The primary focus of this program is technical in nature, including maintenance of client’s ecommerce product databases, writing and trouble-shooting java scripts, as well as other, technical-related tasks. A working knowledge of java scripts and Microsoft Excel is a must. A secondary focus will be managing technical aspects of client advertising programs including SEO.
What will be learned can be summarized as: how a business grows online in terms of both the technical intricacies and the marketing aspects required.
The preferred candidate should be a senior, recent graduate, or MBA student majoring in Database Management, Programming or Web Development.
List of Duties:
Updating / importing / exporting / maintaining client ecommerce product databases
Writing of java scripts either from scratch, or, customizing readily available scripts
Managing product feed files sent to comparison shopping engines
Managing auto responders
Updating DMG’s own WordPress websites
Compile and analyze survey data
Preparation of monthly client sales reports
Set-up of client accounts with 3rd-party providers
Optimize client web pages
Assist in researching and applying 3rd-party web applications
Working knowledge of java scripts
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SEO helpful
Knowledge of online marketing helpful
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to juggle multiple balls in the air without dropping any
Organized and detailed oriented
Ability to summarize details
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and project management skills
10-12 hours per week, on average
