Description

Assist IT Tech Support Specialist with providing computer hardware and technical support to various users at all our facilities. Under the direction of a professional Tech Support Specialist, the intern will be responsible for the following duties:
* Monitoring help desk support requests
* Supporting PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and possible some basic software applications
* Providing end user support in various levels of technical and non-technical staff
* Administration of differential and full system backups
*Creation and suspension of Active Directory user accounts
*Creation of Exchange user account, shared mailboxes, and distribution lists
*Build and deploy laptops and desktops, with the opportunity to assist in the configuration and deployment of virtual server environments

Requirements

Candidate must be able to be onsite at our Catoosa, Oklahoma location Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm CST.
Some weekend work may be required.
Position does not include relocation
Completion of Sophomore year in Information Technology studies.
Student must have awareness of the PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, Active Directory, MS Exchange email account creation and support, iDevice (iPhone/iPad) support a plus

Student must have awareness of the PC Industry’s current and emerging technology trends and direction, as well as a keen interest in computer-based information systems and technology.
