The Business Systems Analyst Intern will assist in; defining and visualizing workflows, modeling data, defining system requirements, and acceptance criteria both technical and business-focused.

Responsibilities•Assist in evaluating moderate to complex business requirements;
•Assists in performing process analysis of customer activities to determine alternative business solutions or process improvement opportunities.
•Helps develop and maintain documentation of business requirements and application standard operating procedures.
•Assists in analyzing and documenting moderate to complex business problems and provides recommendations based on research of industry trends, business products, competitors and performance analysis for optimal business solutions.
•Helps analyzes feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of programs.
•Assist with problem resolution as needed to ensure that internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient service in accordance with company policies.
Familiarity with/ exposure in:
•IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, and technical standards
•Data modeling, UML, & requirements elicitation techniques
•Agile and waterfall development
•Communicate technical terms, requirements, and situations to an non-technical audience
•Clearly outline business processes & requirements to a technical audience
•Effectively manage time and complete tasks
•Work well within a team
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others inside and outside of the IT organization
•Adapt to changing requirements and technologies
•Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher
•Prefer junior or senior, but will consider other class levels
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
