Description

We are currently hiring for an Entry Level Java Developer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates who are looking to gain experience in programming.

In this job, you’ll provide entry level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases for mainframe-, client/server-, Web- and/or PC-based systems.

Some job duties are:
Translates technical specifications. Writes programs, ad hoc queries, and reports.
Elevates code into the development, test, and Production environments on schedule. Provides follow up Production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
Learns and follows software development methodology.
Participates in design, code, and test Inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Java, Ruby, Python, PHP, C, Objective C, C# or equivalent would be appreciated
Working experience of the following development practices and concepts: Systems analysis and design techniques, System/subsystem requirements, Libraries, reusable code, and/or object oriented standards, Screen, report, and query design
Responsible, dependable, quick learner
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology
