DescriptionStan Hywet Hall & Gardens is the former American Country Estate of F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. The estate features a historic 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House, Gothic Revival Conservatory, Gate Lodge (birthplace of Alcoholics Anonymous) and approximately 70 acres of artistically landscaped grounds and formal gardens.
The Information Technology department is responsible for managing and maintaining Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens IT Infrastructure, including but not limited to the following, core servers, Desktops, Printers, Copiers, Wireless, Handhelds, etc.
Will receive a one year membership upon completion of internship.
ResponsibilitiesStan Hywet Hall & Gardens is looking for a student intern with exceptional customer service skills, solid troubleshooting skills, ability to work well in a team environment, excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Applicants must have experience with Windows XP/7 in a technical support environment.
Experience with Windows 8 is a plus. Applicants must also have experience supporting recent
versions of Microsoft Office Applications, including XP, 2003 and 2010. Experience with
networking technologies and printer support is preferred.
Requirements• Minimum of two years of college or trade school education in a business, communications or computer related field.
• A basic understanding of Windows Operating Systems, computer network cabling and network file and print services.
