Description

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is the former home of early industrialist and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company co-founder, F.A. Seiberling, and his wife, Gertrude. The 65 room Tudor Revival style mansion designed by Charles Schneider was built between 1912-1915 and today encompasses 70 acres of restored gardens originally created by noted landscape architect Warren Manning. After 40 years of occupancy, the Seiberling heirs helped create the non-profit foundation which has operated the museum since 1957. Stan Hywet is accredited by the American Association of Museums and is listed as a National Historic Landmark and an Official Project of Save America's Treasures. Tours are offered daily from 10am-4:30pm April through December along with seasonal special events.

The Information Technology Intern is responsible for assisting the Information Technology Manager in managing and maintaining Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens IT Infrastructure, including but not limited to the following, core servers, Desktops, Printers, Copiers, Wireless, Handhelds, etc.

Responsibilities

-Intern will work with Windows and recent versions of Microsoft Office Applications, providing technical support and assistance across the estate,
-Will assist in updating and troubleshooting additional applications and software including EMS, Raiser's Edge, POS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
-Will oversee performance of equipment including phones, wireless networks, handheld devices, and printers and work with Information Technology Manager to address errors and problems.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of college or trade school education in a business, communications or computer related field.
• A basic understanding of Windows Operating Systems, computer network cabling and network file and print services.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
