DescriptionWe are currently looking for an organized, energetic individual who possess a unique ability to coordinate a variety of tasks effectively. The ideal candidate would be a positive, self-motivated individual able to react to changing situations with ease. A professional, friendly demeanor is a must as this position is the gatekeeper to the IT department. This position requires strong communication skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoots basic OS repairs, spyware/virus removal, hardware, and necessary upgrades
Knowledge of basic computer logic and methodology
Responsible for answering all initial help desk inquiries.
Ability to identify and organize tickets according to priority
Maintains calendar, schedules meetings, arrange conference calls, and coordinates meetings
Prepares IT team for meetings and ensures projects stay on track
Responds to direct clients, vendors, and employees on behalf of IT department
Prepares letters, spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and other reports, as assigned.
Must serves as gatekeeper and first point of contact for IT department
Able to recognize situations within assigned responsibility area and offer resolution.
Participates in meetings and events with other administrative support staff.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in IT or related field or relevant work experience.
2 years of experience in executive administration, IT department or similar type settings.
Advanced Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and negotiation skills
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Excellent customer skills to meet the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
