Worldwide we have 1,600 employees with 80 employees in Austin. We are a fast-paced company with significant opportunity to both learn and advance within the company. Ideally this intern would move to a full-time position upon graduation.
We are hiring for this position year round but would prefer someone who can start immediately! This is a paid position ($8.00 - $10.00 / hr).
The IT Support Technician would be responsible for handling tickets associated with end client issues assigned by our IT Manager in our growing office based at 3212 South Congress Ave, Austin TX 78704.. Maintaining a professional demeanor, ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution or escalation are essential in this position.
ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer support services to end users
Provide phone and e-mail support
Provide end-user troubleshooting and support to internal departments and individuals
Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems and investigate root causes for the escalation of issues.
RequirementsAble to perform basic troubleshooting of Windows stand alone and Windows networked PCs.
Strong customer relationship skills, able to communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written.
Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate through e-mail and phone.
Intermediate knowledge of networking, printers, Internet communications protocols.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Workstation Operating Systems and Applications.
Ability to work with little supervision and work within a team.
Able to work at least 20 - 30+ hours per week for 3 - 4 months
