DescriptionVitabyte Inc. is a managed service provider serving businesses in the New York City metropolitan area and beyond in a variety of industries. Vitabyte's tech support reps provide hardware and software telephone, remote and onsite technical support to our clients which fall into two main categories:
1) Clients (restaurants) of our Point of Sale (POS) Systems and
2) Small and Medium Sized businesses. Candidates for this position should be proficient in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments, Exchange server administration, networking, TCP/IP, remote connection tools (i.e. VNC, logmein, RDP), directly connected and network storage solutions, database development and administration and hardware and software installation and configuration.
Installing Point of Sale Terminals
Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, Router)
Hardware / Software troubleshooting
Willingness to learn
Other qualifications PREFERED or limited to:
B.A. in Computer sciences
A+, N+, Cisco, MCP, MSCE
