Description

flextimeHealth, a healthcare based start up, is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to interact with product teams and create superior user experiences. As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you must use knowledge of JavaScript and CSS to create performant and beautiful UIs that work across a variety of devices and browsers. The successful candidate will have a passion for design, a strong appreciation for user-centric design, a love of technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with our product and design teams to customize the experience for the web
- Use expert knowledge of JavaScript and CSS to create performant and beautiful UIs that work across a variety of devices and browsers
- Develop, maintain, and improve strong unit testing and continuous integration processes
- Analyze and optimize client-side UI and server-side API code for efficiency and performance
- Monitor client and server performance and address scaling issues
- Identify bugs
- Innovate, explore, and build new product features and share ideas with your team

Requirements

- A love for all things JavaScript
- Ability to translate design mockups to re-usable CSS and HTML components
- Experience with at least one major client-side JavaScript framework
- Experience with at least one major server-side JavaScript framework
- Experience designing clean and maintainable REST APIs
