CIG is looking for an intern to assist in the design, maintenance, and execution of test plans and procedures. Will assist in testing the functionality of computer applications, reporting defects, and validating the resolution of defects.

Responsibilities•Will assist in validating quality and user experience of applications through automated and manual testing procedures.
•Will assist in testing of computer programs and systems.
•Will assist in verifying that system is operating correctly and achieves the desired results.
•Will assist in ensuring that systems, applications, and programs adhere to the specifications and meet business needs.
•Will assist in documenting, tracking, and communicating project testing risks, test results, status, defect analysis and unresolved.
•Assist in maintaining data files, test scripts, other system-specific processes necessary to perform effective, and accurate quality assurance testing.
IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, and technical standards
Development Concepts, Design Patterns, and Relational Database Management System concepts
Agile and waterfall development exposure
•Effectively manage time and complete tasks
•Work well within a team
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others inside and outside of the IT organization
•Adapt to changing requirements and technologies
RequirementsEducation and Experience:
•Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher
•Prefer junior or senior, but will consider other class levels
•Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred - Relational Databases, Selenium
