Acadian Asset Management LLC is a Boston-headquartered investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore, London, Tokyo and Sydney. As of September 30, 2016, the firm managed approximately US$74 billion on behalf of major pension funds, endowments, foundations, governments and other investors based in the U.S. and abroad.

Position Overview:
Release Engineering is concerned with the compilation, assembly, and delivery of code into finished products. The Release Engineer intern will be working with the Release Engineering Team and the IT Architecture Team. The candidate will primarily be responsible for working with Software Development, IT Architecture and Infrastructure Release Engineering to build and develop process and procedures in order to automate deployments of software in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment. As a member of the Release Engineering team the intern will play a role in building and maintaining tools for deployment through our Dev, QA and Production environments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of tools to automate operational processes
• Design, implement and support of infrastructure deployments using GO
• Use the DevOps culture to promote best practices between multiple teams
• Evaluate and make recommendations that contribute to overall improvements
• Implement and manage CI/CD systems and methodologies

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
• Understanding of a DevOps environment a plus
• Understanding of source control applications (Perforce a plus); Exposure to GO and CI/CD concepts helpful but not necessary
• Experience in a Windows Server and Linux environment
• Working knowledge of Powershell, MSBuild and object oriented programming languages like C#
• Working knowledge of database technologies (MS SQL Server)
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic
