2. Create exciting, high-level, career-building internship opportunities for interns.
(We also provide consulting and public speaking services.)

SEO specialist

The mission of an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist is to drive the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines like Bing, Yahoo, and Google to a website. You will be working with on-page and off-page techniques, including link-building, social media strategy, viral marketing, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization, content strategy, information architecture, and more.


This internship is virtual. You will work from home (or school, or Starbucks, or the library…or wherever). You can work anywhere as long as you have reliable internet connection and a quiet area for Skype meetings.


In addition to receiving high-level skills and experience that will forward your career goals and immediately increase your prospects for higher-paying, more rewarding jobs, you will also receive mentoring on your résumé, interviewing skills, and professional goals. Any work that is not confidential can be added to your professional portfolio. You will directly with the your team as well as with the Social Media Specialist team. You will also have frequent input and communications with the Founder of our company and get the inside, behind-the-scenes view of a start-up, virtual, national/international company. You will have access to a variety of training materials on sales, marketing, internship program management, and other topics, worth thousands of dollars. Successful interns will receive a top-notch letter of recommendation and referrals to important business and employment contacts. In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit.


This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!


You will gain:

• Experience with Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools
• Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool
• A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
• The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
• Proven success in link building and viral strategies
• The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
• A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
• A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO
• Creative, with attention to detail
• Self Motivated

Applicants with prior experience and/or education in product development, marketing, design, brand or product management are welcome, but WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and willing to learn. Working at, you will be on a team, which may be responsible for, but are not limited to the following:

The primary function of this role is to assist the search manager with SEO campaign strategy planning and execution. An ideal SEO specialist will be responsible for day-to-day SEO activities including: content optimization, keyword research, traffic analysis, SEO recommendations, competitive analysis, site auditing, etc.

You do not need to be an expert, but rather have a thirst for learning about and growing as a Product Developer!
