We are seeking a dedicated enthusiastic web developer to create a new web site for our company, as well as make some changes to our existing website. If you are someone who can think out of the box, and come up with original ideas to make our company stand out as special, we would like to talk to you. Candidates should have prior web site design and development experience. Knowledge and experience using WordPress, Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS3, and PHP are preferred. Experience with customizing templates and/or modifying existing websites may also be useful. If you would like the opportunity to have full responsibilities to take a project from start to completion, including testing, this position will be good for you.

Responsibilities

Design and develop a new website for a NYC sightseeing service company that highlights its uniqueness and strengths. Utilize original thinking to create a site that is aesthetically pleasing and attracts potential clients. Meet with management to determine additional changes that they would like. Thoroughly test all web site links and elements. Develop code and use filenames in such a way as to promote search engine optimization. Ensure that web site will work in all browsers and types of devices. Also make some functional changes to our existing web site so that it can be better utilized by clients.

Requirements

Should have experience building websites preferably that are currently being used live online; those who have academic experience building websites may also be considered. Other requirements are a strong work ethic, able to work independently without constant supervision, proactive, having a good aesthetic sense as to what would look good on a website, and being dedicated enough to take a project from start to completion.
