Consumers for a Responsive Legal System ("Responsive Law") is seeking a website development intern for Spring 2017. The start and end dates are flexible, though we would like to fill the position as soon as possible. Responsive Law is willing to work with students to receive course credits. The internship is available for 16-40 hours per week.

Responsive Law is a national, nonprofit advocacy organization that works to improve accessibility, accountability and affordability in the civil justice system. We advocate for more competition in the provision of legal services, better self-help options for the legal system's customers, and improved legal literacy for those customers.

We are seeking an intern with knowledge of Joomla to assist with development of our website. The intern will work directly with the organization's executive director to map a strategy for website improvement, including better back-end organization and better user-facing presentation, and will be responsible for implementing that strategy during the semester. The intern will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance of and additions to the website, under the direction of the executive director.
