TGP Inc. has served the automotive repair industry for over 20 years, covering areas including New England, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and the Washington Metropolitan region. Through our monthly print and online publications, we provide a voice for prominent automotive associations across the country with intensive coverage of important issues and events affecting repairers in their everyday operations. Under the direction of publisher Thomas Greco, a seasoned professional with 25 years experience in the publishing industry, the TGP team handles all pre-press production in-house, from ad design to editorial layout.
Responsibilities- Assist with editorial projects and provide support to the Managing Editor.
- Proofreading both hard and electronic files, basic copyediting, and writing of news events and features;
- Work on special projects, as needed
Requirements- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, business communications, or communication arts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
- Experience/interest in Web maintenance
- Familiarity with Quark Express and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
