Houston, Texas. We provide our readers with provocative fashion editorials,
engaging coverage of local and world news events, humanitarian features, and in
depth biographies of individuals working to create positive changes in the world.
Since our initial creation in 2011 we set out to create a magazine for the socially
conscious reader. Each issue boasts "real people, real stories." Our desire to bring
content to our readers that is more than just relevant but personally connects with
them through engaging images and connective writing.

Responsibilities- Assist with editorial projects and provide support to the Associate Editor and
- Proofreading both hard and electronic files, basic copyediting, and writing of
proposals and reports;
- Assisting with or proofing of basic ads, flyers, brochures, invitations, etc.
-Identify topics for feature articles in magazine.
-Write and prepare interview questions and communication with potential subjects
- Work on special projects, as needed.
Requirements- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English,
business communications, or communication arts.- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail and
problem solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience/interest in Web maintenance
- Familiarity with Adobe In Design and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
